PhD students

Landon Butler

Landon is interested in algorithmic decision-making under uncertainty, leveraging tools from game theory, network science, and economics. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022.

Mert Cemri

Mert is interested in machine learning, distributed optimization, and multi-agent systems. He obtained his B.S. from Bilkent University in 2023.

Jichan Chung

Jichan is interested in machine learning and distributed systems. He obtained his B.S. from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2017.

Yigit Efe Erginbas

Efe is interested in problems at the intersection of economics, algorithms, statistics, and machine learning with a focus on theory and methods. He obtained his B.S. from Bilkent University in 2021.

Justin Kang

Justin is interested in signal and information processing, machine learning, and privacy in learning. He obtained his M.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 2021 and his B.A.Sc. from the University of British Columbia in 2019.

Nived Rajaraman

Nived is interested in a variety of topics in machine learning with a focus on the statistical and computational aspects of adaptive decision making problems and reinforcement learning. He obtained his B.S. from IIT Madras in 2019.

Post-docs

Ajil Jalal

Ajil is interested in compressed sensing, generative models, and information theory. He received his Ph.D. from UT Austin in 2022 and his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2016.
